Context or Motivation to participate:
As head of the Institute for integrative Studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg, member of the UNESCO National committee ‘Men and biosphere’ and member of the Hamburg Foundation For Climate Protection, I’m interested in (non-)scientific co-operations in terms of Sustainable Development with artists & people engaged in the cultural sector. Together with my colleague I would like to share our experiences in transdisciplinary research and practice projects at the intersection of art and Sustainable Development, particularly focussing on issues like empowerment, participation and social change.
